Concerned about an older person? It is easy to help. Take a minute to make one simple phone call to the Office of Aging at 582-5128. Emergency assistance is available 24 hours a day at 582-4311. All calls are confidential at your request. You do not need to give your name. Suspicions of abuse, neglect, abandonment and exploitation are also investigated. The Office of Aging will assess the older person's needs and contact the appropriate social and health services, including in-home personal care, food and transportation.
